Process

Confirm quota and entry permit
We check the establishment card quota and apply for the partner entry permit or change of status.

Medical fitness, biometrics, and Emirates ID typing are booked and submitted.

Visa stamping
The residence visa is stamped in the passport and the ID is issued.
Documents we usually need
- Passport with at least six months validity
- Trade licence and establishment card
- Digital photo on a white background
- Current visa copy if you already reside in the UAE
Questions
How long is a partner visa valid?
Validity follows the licence and immigration rules, commonly two years. It must be renewed with the licence.
Can a partner visa sponsor a family?
Yes, after the partner visa and Emirates ID are issued, and if salary or deposit conditions are met.
